Our EXPRESS FAST TRACK course is designed for people who already have extensive practical forklift experience but do not currently hold a valid licence.
Important: You must have at least 2 years operating experience on a forklift. If you do not, you may be required to rebook additional training at extra cost.
What happens on the day
Starts 2pm – training and assessment (same day)
- Face-to-face training, including hands-on forklift practice
- Review of the pre-study materials
- Assessment facilitated by an authorised WHSQ assessor
- Theory, calculations and practical performance assessment
- Usually finished by approximately 6pm
This course is suitable if you:
- Hold an overseas forklift licence
- Previously held a licence that has now expired
- Have been operating forklifts for at least 2 years but have never been licensed
After booking, we email you the study materials so you can prepare at home. Most experienced operators need around 2–4 hours of preparation before the course day.
You will need 3 valid forms of ID
- Australian driver’s licence (current, or expired by no more than 2 years)
- Any international passport (current, or expired by no more than 2 years)
- Australian birth certificate
- Australian Medicare card (in date)
- Australian or international bank card with your name embossed on it
