Is forklift training tax deductible?
Yes — training costs are a legitimate business expense and fully tax deductible for employers and employees where the training relates to current or future work. Booking before June 30 means the cost is claimable in this financial year. We provide a tax invoice with every booking.

How much does a forklift licence cost in Queensland?
The total cost with WorkSafe Training is $390 all-inclusive. That covers your training, your assessment, and your First Aid training as a bonus. You pay $100 to secure your spot and the $290 balance on the day of training. You may need to complete your First Aid Training on a different day.
How long does it take to get a forklift licence?
If you're new to forklifts the course runs over two days — pre-study online, Day 1 for training, Day 2 for your assessment. If you're an experienced operator who hasn't got around to getting licenced, you can complete training and assessment on the same day through the fast-track course.
Is the forklift ticket nationally recognised?
Yes. The qualification is TLILIC0003 — Licence to Operate a Forklift Truck — and it's nationally recognised. WorkSafe Training is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO 41345) and all assessments are supervised by WHSQ authorised assessors.
Where can I get a forklift licence near me in Brisbane?
We run training at Strathpine on the north side and Kingston on the south side, with additional locations on the Sunshine Coast and also onsite at your location. Between these locations most of greater Brisbane and SEQ is covered.
My forklift licence has expired — do I need to redo the full course?
It depends on how long it's been and what your operating history looks like. Call Belinda on 0466 090 559 and we can work out which pathway is appropriate for your situation — it's not always the full two-day course.
